Dihedral vinyl silicone oil

It serves as a base material for producing high‑temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (HTV), which is compounded with crosslinking agents, reinforcing fillers, colorants, structure‑controlling additives, and anti‑aging agents to yield raw HTV. It is also used in the manufacture of liquid silicone rubber and constitutes the primary feedstock for injection‑molded thermosetting silicone elastomers. Furthermore, this product can react with various organic materials such as polyurethanes and acrylics, enabling the formulation of advanced new materials with superior performance—exhibiting enhanced weatherability, aging resistance, UV protection, and improved toughness—and is a key raw material in the production of coatings, modified silicone oils, and other related products.

Note: The above are standard specifications; our company can customize vinyl-terminated silicone fluids with viscosities of up to 2,000,000 cSt upon customer request.

III. Performance and Applications

The higher the viscosity of this product, the greater its molecular weight and the lower its vinyl content; conversely, the lower the viscosity, the higher the vinyl content. The vinyl groups at both ends exhibit high reactivity and, in the presence of a catalyst, can undergo hydrosilylation with hydrogen‑containing silicone oils.

It is used as a base material for the production of high‑temperature vulcanized silicone rubber (HTV), compounded with crosslinking agents, reinforcing agents, colorants, and structure‑controlling additives, The raw rubber of high-temperature vulcanized silicone rubber is prepared by compounding with aging agents and other additives; it is used to produce liquid silicone rubber. It is the primary material for injection‑molded thermoplastic silicone rubber. This product can also react with polyurethane, acrylics, and various other organic materials to produce novel modified materials that exhibit excellent weather resistance, aging resistance, UV stability, and high toughness. Additionally, it serves as an important raw material in the production of modified silicone oils and specialty coatings.

IV. Packaging and Storage

III. Features and Applications

The higher the viscosity of this product, the lower the vinyl content; conversely, the lower the viscosity, the higher the vinyl content. The vinyl groups at both ends exhibit high reactivity, allowing a rapid addition reaction with hydrogen silicone fluid (in the presence of a catalyst), as well as participation in various other reactions.

It serves as the base material for the production of high-temperature vulcanized (HTV) silicone rubber, which is compounded with crosslinkers, reinforcing agents, colorants, structure control agents, and anti-aging agents to prepare HTV silicone rubber compound. It is also used in the production of liquid silicone rubber and serves as the primary material for injection-molded silicone rubber. Additionally, this product can react with various organic materials such as polyurethanes and acrylics to formulate new materials with improved performance (weatherability, anti-aging, UV resistance, enhanced toughness, etc.), such as coatings. It serves as a key raw material for manufacturing various coatings and modified silicone oils.

IV. Packaging and Storage

  1. Packaging: This product is sealed in a clean and dry inner plastic-coated iron drums or plastic drums.
  2. Transportation: During transportation, exposure to sunlight and rain should be prevented. Transport it as non-hazardous goods.
  3. Storage: Store in a well-ventilated cool and dry place with no contact with harmful substances such as acid and alkali. The shelf life is one year, beyond which, re-test the product according to specifications. It may remain usable if it still meets the requirements.
