Product Description

SH-2501 Nano-oligomeric water-soluble silicon-based material

I. Performance and Applications

This product is permeable, absorbent, and capable of preserving the substrate’s natural appearance; it can interact with the air… CO 2 or reacts with other acidic compounds to form an insoluble, network‑like layer on the substrate surface. Waterproof breathable membrane It offers excellent waterproofing performance, along with benefits such as impermeability, moisture resistance, rust inhibition, aging resistance, and pollution resistance, preventing moisture from penetrating the substrate. This helps mitigate spalling caused by freeze–thaw cycles and weathering, thereby extending the service life of the substrate.

III. Recommended Applications

This product is primarily used for stone, bricks and tiles, ceramics, concrete, Cement Surface treatments for mortar, perlite, gypsum and gypsum board, wood, and other materials can extend the service life of the substrate; they can also serve as a substitute for water glass. Additive Use.

IV. Packaging and Storage & Transportation

Generally is 200kg、20kg Plastic bucket packaging; in 5~36 ℃, store sealed in a cool, dry environment Storage Save, Storage The shelf life is generally calculated from the date of manufacture. 6 month , It may still be used if it passes the extended-period inspection. 。

V. Construction References

  1. Clean the substrate surface : Remove any standing water, dirt, and other foreign matter from the substrate. If cracks are present, fill them with putty or cement mortar to ensure the substrate surface is smooth and solid, with no hollows or looseness.
  2. Dilute solution : Dilute with water, typically to a concentration of 3% or lower concentrations. If it is necessary to use concentrations higher than 3% The concentration must first be verified experimentally, as high concentrations may leave a white residue on waterproof surfaces.
  3. Construction method : Application may be carried out by soaking, spraying, or brushing. During application, ensure even coverage with no areas left uncoated. After brushing, allow the treated surface to air‑dry naturally; apply a second coat before the surface is completely dry. If used for protective treatment on stone or tile surfaces, wipe away any excess liquid with a soft cloth before the surface dries, and avoid water exposure during curing for at least… 24 Hour.

SH-2501 Nanometer-sized Oligomeric Water-soluble Silicon-based Materials

I . Product Description

This product features in permeability, absorbency, and ability to maintain the original appearance of the substrate. It can react with CO 2 or other acidic compounds in the air and form a waterproof, insoluble, and breathable reticular film on the   surface of the substrate. It has excellent waterproofing performance and outstanding resistance to seepage, moisture, rust, aging, and pollution. It prevents water from penetrating the substrate, thereby reducing peeling caused by freeze-thaw and weathering and increasing the lifespan of the substrate.

III. Applications

This product is mainly used for surface treatment of substrates in a way of extending its service life, for example, stone, brick and tile, ceramics, concrete, cement mortar, perlite, gypsum and gypsum board, wood, etc. It can also be used as an additive in sodium silicate (or water glass).

IV. How to Use

1. Clean the substrate surface: Remove standing water, dust, dirt, and other adherents from the surface to be treated. If there are cracks, fill them with putty or cement slurry to ensure the substrate surface is smooth, solid, and free from hollowing, loose areas, etc.

2. Dilute the solution: Dilute with water, typically to 3% or lower concentration. If a concentration higher than 3% is required, preliminary testing must be conducted to verify its suitability, as high concentration may leave white residues on the waterproofed surface.

  1. Application method: Apply by dipping, spraying, brushing, or other methods. Ensure even and complete coverage without missing any areas. After application,   air dry the treated surface. A second coat can be applied before the first coat is fully dry. For protective treatment of stone or tile surfaces, wipe off any extra liquid with a soft cloth before the surface becomes dry, and then keep the surface free from water contact for at least 24 hours.

V. Packaging and Storage

  1. It is sealed in plastic drums of sizes as in 20kg, 200kg, or customized as per customer request.
  2. Please store it in a cool   and dry place in unopened package   at 5 °C   to 36 °C . The shelf life is 6 months .
