III. Usage References
This adhesive can be applied directly or mixed with other pressure-sensitive adhesives onto the substrate, typically in combination with crosslinking agents and catalysts. To enhance adhesion to the substrate, adhesion promoters may be used. However, corona treatment of primers on coated substrates is a suitable approach for achieving excellent adhesion performance. This product can be further diluted with compatible solvents such as toluene or xylene. When using solvents, ensure adequate ventilation. When preparing the coating solution, the following ratios are recommended:
SH-2050 main component: crosslinking agent CL32; anchoring agent AP810; catalyst CAT05 = 100:0.6–1.5:0.8–1.2:0.8–1.2
Mixing adhesive : According to the pre-determined ratio, first add SH -2050 It can be used alone or, if necessary, blended with other silicone pressure-sensitive adhesives exhibiting different peel strengths in a mixing tank, after which a diluent is added (typically to reduce the solids content to…). In 25%–35%), stir for 20–40 minutes, and once thoroughly mixed, add the crosslinking agent CL32 and stir for 3–5 minutes; then add the catalyst CAT05 and stir until uniform (typically about 30 minutes is sufficient before coating. The shelf life of the coated solution after formulation varies depending on its concentration, solvent, specific formulation, and ambient temperature. Under normal conditions, the coated solution has a shelf life of approximately 6 hours.
Curing : Prepare the coating solution according to the above formulation and apply it to a flexible substrate, at temperatures exceeding Ventilation curing in a continuous coating oven at temperatures above 130°C for 2–5 minutes. minute 。 Airflow pattern Both airflow volume and velocity will affect the curing rate of pressure-sensitive adhesives.
Attention :
1. The rubber compound contains volatile solvents; ensure adequate ventilation during use and keep it away from sources of ignition and high temperatures.
2. During use, wear appropriate personal protective equipment and avoid skin contact. If skin contact occurs, promptly wash the affected area with soap and running water.
3. Coating must be performed under appropriate conditions; it is recommended that the operating room be dust‑free and maintain a temperature between 25 and 35°C. °C , with humidity maintained at 15% to 60%. Excessive dust can cause particulate defects in the coated finished product and increase the defect rate. 。 Too low a temperature can lead to poor leveling and reduced adhesion. Wet Excessive exposure can cause coating. Membrane shrinkage pores, Low humidity can easily lead to electrostatic safety hazards. A whitish surface phenomenon has appeared. 。
Four 、 Packaging and Storage & Transportation
It is recommended to store this product in a well-ventilated area at low temperature ( 0℃-30℃ ) Store in a dark place. The product contains Shelf life 6 one Month; if the re‑inspection is overdue but still meets the standards, the product may continue to be used; standard packaging. 20 kg/drum or 200 kg/drum, depending on… User requirements are negotiated to specify the packaging. This product shall be stored and transported in accordance with hazardous materials regulations. 。
SH-2050 Silicone Adhesive
I. Product Description
SH-20 50 is an addition-cure silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) with low-to-medium peel strength. It features low migration, high-temperature creep resistance, stable adhesion, excellent moisture, heat, and weather resistance. During using, it cures fast, therefore, thereby saving more energy compared to conventional curing methods, and releases no low-molecular-weight substances. It also exhibits properties like good leveling performance, high transparency and excellent electrical insulation of the thin-coated adhesive layer. It is suitable for use in tapes and industrial protective films that needs adhesion control. This adhesive possesses good wetting properties on, such as glass, metal panels, display screens , etc. . And i t is mainly used in protective tapes or films where relatively high adhesion and good wetting performance are required.

III. How to Use
Usually combined with a crosslinker and a catalyst, this adhesive can be applied directly to the substrate or mix it with other pressure-sensitive adhesives first. To improve its bonding to the substrate, adhesion-promoter is suggested. However, corona treatment to a coated substrate is the best option to obtain good adhesion properties. This product can be further diluted with compatible solvents such as toluene, xylene, etc. Therefore, good ventilation should be ensured when using the solvent. For preparing the coating solution, usage ratio below is recommended:
base component (SH-20 50 ): crosslinker (CL32): anchoring agent (AP810): catalyst (CAT05) =100 : 0.6~1.5 : 0.8~1.2 : 0.8~1.2
Coating preparation : According to predetermined ration, firstly, a dd SH-20 50 (or together with other pressure-sensitive adhesives of different peeling forces if necessary) into the mixing drum ; secondly, a dd thinner (generally diluted to a solid content of 25%~35%), stir for 20~40min till the mixture is homogeneous; thirdly, a dd crosslinking agent CL32 and stir for 3~5min; then a dd catalyst CAT05, stir well (generally about 30min) till the mixture is ready for coating. The viscosity pot life of the prepared coating solution may vary significantly based on factors such as coating concentration, solvent, specific formulation, and ambient temperature. The typical pot life is 6 hours.
Curing : Prepare the coating solution according to the formula above, and apply it to the flexible substrate ; and then c ure it with ventilation for 2~5 minutes in a continuous coating oven above 130°C. Airflow pattern, air volume, and velocity may all have an impact on the curing speed of the adhesive.
Note:
1. Due to volatile solvents in the adhesive material, it is necessary to ensure a well ventilated operating environment , also away from fire and high temperature .
2. Wear protective equipment . In case of skin contact , rinse with soap and running water immediately.
3. Coating must be carried out in a proper environment . I It is recommended that the operation room must be dust-free , with temperature controlled at 25°C~35°C and humidity 15%~60%. Excessive dust will lead to particle stains on the finished coating product and increase its defect rate. Too low a temperature may result in poor leveling and reduced adhesion . E Excessive humidity may easily cause shrinkage of the coating film, while too low may cause electr ostatic hazards and surface whitening.
IV. Packaging and Storage
It is recommended that this product be stored in a well-ventilated place away from sun light at 0°C ~ 30°C. The shelf life is 6 months . Re-test the product if exceeding the stated shelf life , and it may still be used if it meets the standard as well. Standard packaging is 20 k g/drum or 200 k g/drum, or can be customized as per customer request . Store and transport as hazardous goods.
